Help: Power is on, but nothing responds??

My computer recently died. I can't tell what the heck is going on.

Symtons:

I can power the thing up. Lights on the motherboard lights, lights on the cd rom lights, but what normally activates such as my keyboard with flash to tell me it is operational and my optical mouse would turn on is not lying dormat.

I also can't use the reset button on the case or hold power down to manually turn off. I have to switch off the case or unplug it to power off?

Are these symtoms telling me my
Motherboard is crapped?
video card is crapped?
cpu is crapped?
Powersupply is crapped?

Any input will help.

thanks

Rah,

Did you try powering it up with a different video card?
Are there any beeps out of the ordinary, maybe a pattern?
Reseat all the cards and RAM?
Try booting with just one stick of RAM (if you have more than one)?
Try booting off of a floppy or CD?

Please post some specs, that would help out alot. 🙂

I tried a differnt video card, but the same problem occurs. No signal to the monitor.
The Mobo doesn't sound off any beeps.

I will try to reseat some of the cards and play with arrangment of my Ram Sticks
