No madder what memory I use, pc133 mushkin, micron, etc. It will never count the last meg?
IE: 512 mgs of memory shows up as 511 in windows
IE: 1 128 mg shows up as 127.
Is this a problem with my motherboard?
All my memory settings are set to low
4way interleaving etc, disabled, didnt find nothing on Pauls FAq's
A couple of times it did not count 64 mgs of memory when i had 2x256 in. (448)

-----------------------------------------------------
My system:
Abit kt7a (YH bios flash) Bios set to standard.
T-bird 1.33gz oem
Geforce 2 Gts 32mg (creative labs oem) W/ latest Det. drivers
Ibm deskstar HD
Sblive Platinum
Linksys nic
256x2 micron memory

your mobo doesn't have onbard video by any chance? I've seen this on heaps of boards with onboard video. It could be that the onboard is not disabled properly and is still grabbing a meg of ram for itself

Isn't there a setting in your BIOS about a memory hole at 15-16MB?
Try to set that at disable - maybe that'll help?

What does it show up right after POSTing?

sabka! YOU ROCK!

That was it, I was messing around with the memory hole for stability issues!

Thanks!
