Help please...

I was installing a power supply in the mother in laws computer. (The fan went out on hers so I was doing this to get her off my back) Now heres the deal after installing the power supply the machine wont post.

This is an old p2 motherboard the model is pt-51vh if that means anything to anyone not sure on a brand though. Anyway strange thing if I pull the left (one with blue and yellow wires from AT power supply) Connection from the motherboard the system will post but will not recognize the floppy or keyboard.

I thought maybe it was a bad power supply so I swapped it back for the old one and now its doing the same thing. I have no idea whats happened and now my mother in law is really after me grrr.

I know this is a tough one to diagnose without seeing the computer but if anyone has any suggestions im willing to try anything.

Thanks

This is an AT power supply? You did connect the power connectors on the mother board so the black wires from each connector are in the middle?
