I've been using wireless networking for the past couple of months with not problem.
Yesterday, however, everything went terribly wrong.
I would be able to see all the available networks but I COULDN'T connect to any of them.
Everytime I tried to connect the network icon would keep popping up the message that "there are available network(s), click here to see all the available network(s)." but everytime I tried to connect, it wouldn't let me and it would keep popping up the same message over and over again."

I called tech support (I use linksys access point and pci card) for helo but they weren't able to help me at all.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the pci card 5 times before I could connect to a network but I would get disconnected every so often.
Right now, I'm connected to a connection that is NOT mine. Everytime I connect to my network, I would get disconnected.
What could be the problem here? is my router (BEFW11S4) not sending any signal or what? or is the problem in my pci card (WMP11) which I doubt because I'm connected right now.

Somebody help me please.

I'm going on a limb here but did you add a new cordless phone or anything that would cause interference lately?

Nope....

It was working fine before I left for work in the morning (around 8am) and when I got home (around 7pm), I couldn't connect at all.

any help?

Now I can connect to a network that's not mine, but everytime I try to connect to my network, I would get disconnected and get connected to the other network.

I called linksys support and I had to talk to about 3 different tech supports who didn't know what the hell they were talking about until I got one to helo me out (well, kinda...)

She told me that linksys' WLAN monitor is not supposed to be used with XP and therefore I have to run msconfig and under the services bar, I have to uncheck the zero wireless configuration box and restart.
Now everytime I turn on my computer, it takes about 5 minutes after I log onto my account before I can start using anything. Moreover, my WLAN monitor would say that my wireless card is NOT installed until I put in the installation into the cd drive.

What's causing this? Anybody else is using WMP11 with XP professional with no problem???

I didn't have this problem until about 3-4 nights ago...

HELP please....
