^ that's a very solid choice there.

And you can never go wrong w/ the right rhythm of G, C, D or any combination of those 3 in a row.

Am, Fm7, C, G is a winner too. BTW, Fm7 is easy, it's a "C" chord, but move you ring & middle finger down one string each. :) good luck!

Minor chords make for slow songs :) Am- D - E works well. It has a bit of a Spanish flavor to it.

LoL - that was the exact pattern I was thinking of :D
For my money, you can't go wrong with I-vi-IV-V-I. Especially played as arpeggios with a little tremolo.

There's established patterns. For instance, I IV V, I V VII, etc. I think I saw a poster at Guitar Center that lists all of these patterns.
