##### HELP PLEASE - Soundblaster drivers needed !!! #####

Trifecta

Senior member
hi,

I have a Soundblaster pci 128 and windows 98se

I cant get the drivers from the creative site to work. I think that these drivers on their page are incomplete.

File from creative: e128up9x.exe

it doesnt install the drivers, it seems to be an upgrade file.

I need the original base driver

I have looked on download.com and zdnet and voodooextreme.

someone please send them to me!!!

Thnx

as with almost every site like winfiles, they only route you to the company website. Creative must have posted a bad driver on their win98 pci128 driver download.

I had same problem but eventually found them on their site...When I get home I can email them to you..but I'm at work rite now so you'll have to wait..
I'm editing this in now...I think I used the ensoniq PCI drivers and I finally got mine to work..try this out: CL PCI drivers
Hope it works...

this is exaclty what I was looking for THANKS!!!!

Geeeze, what kind of a moron comapany puts their drivers buried down under a tech support page....creative has lost a customer forever...

Had the same problem with VIA and incomplete USB driver files. You'd thunk testing the downloadables would be the first step by webbastards after putting it on the page.
