HELP PLEASE! Someone is using my paypal account on my old PS3

I sold someone a PS# last year and I forgot and left my card info on there, they sold it to someone on craigslist and they have made 3 charges on my account for a total of 200 dollars. What can I do?

Noob. So simple:

1. Call up offending credit card and put it on a freeze.
2. Dispute charges. Any self-respecting CC shouldn't have you pay for these fraudulent charges.
3. Ask CC to issue a new account number, if they aren't offering that already.

Step 3: Fight with paypal for months
Step 4: Cry a little at the outcome

Unless it's an ebay transaction, paypal is a bi0tch to get money back from

but i got to thinking about it. i have my PS3 about a year or so. i can't remember purchasing anything. but wondered if my CC was on it. i was sure it was not.

i looked it up and yeap it has a number. i really don't remember putting it in.

So it's a MasterCard account, not a Paypal account. Call the credit card company. You needed to ask about this?

Double fail for selling a PS3 (and its BluRay player) prior to the PS4 coming out.

Sony is f'ing worthless and claims they can't reverse it. I called paypal and the sent me a reverse claim affidavit.

Are you 12? Sony is the retailer. The first step in a credit card dispute is to attempt to resolve it with the retailer. The CC company will only take action if the retailer doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction.

Are you 12? Sony is the retailer. The first step in a credit card dispute is to attempt to resolve it with the retailer. The CC company will only take action if the retailer doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction.

This isn't a dispute with a retailer. This is fraudulent use of a credit card. You take this up with the credit card company directly. The credit card company rescinds payment to the retailer and then credits your account.

Are you effing high? How the hell did you get a CC in the first place? It's not the vendor's responsibility to deal w/ fraudulent charges. It's the CC's job to reverse and deal with bogus charges. :|
