HELP PLEASE!!! ROUTER ?

JUST HOOKED MY PC TO A DI-624 ROUTER AND I HAVE MY NOTEBOOK RUNNING A DWL-G650 AIR CARD. I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD GET THE LAPTOP TO SHARE THE PCS PRINTER WITH THIS SETUP. AND IF SO HOW I'M RUNNING WIN2K PRO ON BOTH. THANKS!!!😕

You probably are not aware that typing in uppercases means over the Internet.

"I AM YELLING LOUD". As desperate as your are it is considered inappropriate.

But it is OK to use caps at the beginning of a sentence and other appropriate circumstances.

Simple.


On both machines, go to control panel ,network conenctions, find TCP/IP in the white box, select it and click properties. Install the Netbios protocol.

Wherever the printer is connected, go toControl panel, and go to printers, and right click on your printer. go to sharing, and Share it as something.

Then, on the mahcine without the printer, go to my computer
In the address bar, type:

\\Computer , where "Computer" is the name of the PC with the printer attached. You should then see the printer. Right click on it and click Connect.


That's it. All programs should see it as the default printer.
