I keep a rubber band around my pack of index cards that I'm using to outline a sales proposal. I go into Starbucks to do a little work, take out the cards, and KAPOWIEEE, the rubber band breaks, the cards go all over.

I've had this happen before, so this particular rubber band came from a stationery specialty store, was considerably more expensive than from Staples or CVS, and I didn't expect that to happen.

Okay, you guys know everything. WHERE can I get some rubber bands that I can rely on?

This isn't life or death, but it's annoying.

Thank you.

JESUS CHRIST, you better get this cleared up right away. I'd take a week or 2 off of work and make sure you get the goddamned best rubber bands money can buy.

I thought my life sucked until I read your post. Breaking rubber bands, what's next? Your house burns down?

you might want to contact these guys and tell them all your info. The climate you live in, how many index cards they are holding, if you have oily skin, and how many times they will get used a day. They will probably send a specialist out to custom fit you, but it will be worth it.

Hey, thanks. I called them and they're sending a sample pack. THEY didn't laugh at my complaints, let me tell you.

I knew you guys would come thru for me! Love this place.

Did you specifically mention the "KAPOWIEEE" sound your old ones made, and that you specifically did not want that in a rubber band.

Change the rubber band every now and then because a dry environment like an office will dry up the rubber bands quickly.

It's ok, Magnums aren't for everyone.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
