I fixed the problem with my TV once in an unorthodox way.. My TV was green near the top and it was annoying.. brand new 32" Sharp TV. So, I took a magnet to it (I figured I could take it back to Best Buy if it didn't fix it).. Well, I moved the magnet around in front of the screen and moved the green part down into the corner.

Once it was in the corner, I moved the magnet again and it dissappeared. Yay. Throw magnets at your TV.

JCobra14, thanks for all of your help. if you were in my part of the world, i would definitely bring the set to you. You have been a tremendous help to someone who knows jack about TV electronics

masterxfob, you are an idiot who aparently has been burned just a few times too many with Daewoo products. so Bite Me Monkey Boy :)

i've actually never touched, bought, or used a daewoo product. it's korean made, what more can i say? i'm korean btw, so any of you asstards thinking i'm racist can bite me :p

Most daewoo sets use thompson CRT's (RCA) which are some of the best-made tubes on planet earth. They are cheap sets, but they certainly are a good buy
