Help, Please, Need a TV Repair Guy ----- EDIT -----> now PICS of the Problem

I have a Daewoo 27 inch tv and it has a large green circle within a blue circle within a red circle on the tube. major bleed through when i watch anything. It ls only about 3 years old.

question 1: can anyone tell me what happened?

question 2: can anyone tell me how to fix it?

i know what the problem is, it's a fvcking daewoo! that or maybe you had a large magnet come to close to the screen.

try putting your monitor next your TV and degaussing the monitor.

Sounds like the device that deflects the energy from the source in the picture tube is not working up to its potential. don't ask me how to fix it. Call a sears repair man or something.

You're supposed to hold a beer in one hand and smack the thing with the other hand. It'll work wonders. If it doesn't do anything, you need to smack harder.

turned it off at 3 o'clock and it was fine

turned it on at 3:30 and it looked like this

I think a repair man is in order... unless you have degausing coils. I would give that a try although I hae no clue what the problem is so I hae no clue if it would work.

I am a professional tv serviceman, the degaussing circuit in the set is no longer functioning, or the set came into contact with a STRONG magnetic field. The color purity is being effected by a magnetic field. Common with lightning strikes and speakers.

Remove any speakers from around the set. Unplug it for about 1/2 hr to an hour. If the set doesnt return to normal, call a servicer. The set will need to be manually degaussed, I do this for $38 in home, or $20 for walk-ins...

80% of the time unplugging the set for 1 hour will cure this.

19% of the time you'll need the set manually degaussed, if the internal degausser wont take care of it

1% of the time you'll need the auto degausser in the set repaired (minor repair $65 in-home)
