HELP please! My computer keeps freezing

My computer keeps freezing. I don't know why, I've tested each and every USB, and it still freezes. I have a dv6500t HP notebook. I did a clean installation. I am pretty sure I got most drivers. I tried flashing the bios. I updated SP1. It freezes very often. I don't know why, in the middle of games, or in the middle of web browsing. It even freezes on the bios logo start up that saids HP. What should I do? Is there some tests that I should run? Please help.

I was using the computer for 20 minutes and it frozed like 3 times already. I had to power it off and power it on again. It's not overheating though, I am pretty sure. the notebook is pretty cold. Also, I tested the video drivers. I don't think it's taht either, I uninstalled it and clean the drivers and installed it back like 3 times.

You could make a boot CD and run Memtest86 to see that it's not your RAM going bad.

Is your laptop under warranty still? Call HP and see what they can do if it is.

Well, the thing is, I just got it back like 1 month ago from HP. I want to see if I can do anything first, because I don't want to deal with the lame support.

Can anyone suggest tests or something?

Did you run memtest86 off a bootable CD? Does HP offer a hardware diagnostic tool like Dell does?

I don't know how did I miss that in your last post, sorry about that.
