Hello Everyone, (please let me know if this is the wrong area for this type of post)
I am hoping someone here will be able to help me figure out what is wrong with my PC.
I recently upgraded from a Intel i5 2500k CPU to a Intel i7 3770k CPU. I did this so i can stream better @ http://twitch.tv/epictankz (not able to stream CSGO well on the i5)

After the CPU upgrade in WoW (my main game) i am getting 30-40 FPS. It happens everywhere no matter what is going on.

My Current System Specs:
Mobo: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 - U1h(UEFI BIOS) - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3853#ov
CPU: Intel i7 3770k OC @ 4.4ghz w/ Cooler: Thermaltake Spin Q VT
RAM: 16GB KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX @ 1600 - 1.65v
VIDEO: Nvidia GTX 560 ti - latest drivers
OS: Windows 7 Pro
OS HDD: Kingston SSD 64MB
DATA HDD: Segate 1TB 7200RPM SATA

PSU: Antec 750Watt
Display: 1. Acer 27inch 2. Acer 22inch
Keyboard: Steel Series G7
Mice: Razer Naga, LG G600, LG MX518

Chair: DX Racer F99
Mobo: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 - U1h(UEFI BIOS)

I have Windows Installed on a SSD, and WoW running off a 7200RPM SATA drive.

I have the same GPU as you so i will check fps in wow but before I do can you confirm you get 30-40fps everywhere because you screenie shows 58fps.

Ok just changed my settings to the same as yours and im bouncing between 50 and 70 FPS. You do have a lot of what I would call "useless" features turned on though, for example:

Texture filtering - I really can't see the difference between x8 and x16

SSAO - Looks just as good to me on low as it does on high

Multisampling looks just as good to me on x4 (I actually play with it on x2 because of the tiny amount of difference it makes)

Shadow quality - ultra really isn't worth the performance hit compared to high

Particle density - As above.

Changing those settings should get you to around 100FPS average with very little or no noticible difference to gameplay. Also keep in mind that upgrading from a 2500K to a 3770k one would not expect a massive increase in performance doing something like playing an MMO.

Z68 chips may require a BIOS update to run Ivy Bridge CPUs unless this is a very recent version of the board. Check the Gigabyte site.

Hold on, you think that even though he is able to load windows, play wow and post here that somehow he needs a bios update to make his mobo compatible with his cpu?

It was actually a legitimate suggestion, except that he is currently running the most recent BIOS (UEFI BIOS U1h) per his initial post.

It looks like non-UEFI BIOS F8 provided initial support for 22nm Ivy Bridge processors on his motherboard, but BIOS F10 and F11 provide some Ivy Bridge compatibility fixes. F12 is the current non-UEFI BIOS release for this motherboard.

Had he been running BIOS F8 or earlier, a update could have been warranted.
