help please - Laptop Display problems

I have a Dell Latitude c610 laptop, It was working "ok" but need to be cleaned and reinstall the OS. When i reinstalled the OS, the screen shrank

there is a 2 inch boarder around the screen and the mouse can only go to the edge of the shown screen.

It's like what a monitor looks like before you stretch the viewable boarders to the max. I would take a pic and show you but i don't currently have my camera.

I am having the same problem. I reinstalled the OS on my Dell laptop and the screen shrung to a box inthe middle of the screen. I read on your post that I need to install the video driver and set the resolution to the native resolution on the LCD screen. Can you tell me how to do that?
