Help please...having trouble with language support under Win2000 and WinXP RC2

My Windows 2000 and WinXP RC2 won't read files name with Japenese characters...
I installed all the lanugage codes already during the setup...but it just won't read...
How do I enable multi-language support?

Did you try: View > Encoding > More (if your language selection isn't shown- in your case Japanese) > select Japanese from all the selection. Sometimes the Auto-Select don't quite work right.
