today i was moving around my desk with my computer on it, and all of a sudden my computer shuts off, so i look at my power cables and plug it back into the wall, so now my computer turns on, but my monitor won;t recieve any signals, so i begin to think its my video card, so i change video cards to an older one (ati 7500) to check if it was my video card, so then i plugged it in and tried it out, and still no signal, so after taht i being to think its my monitor, so i took my laptop and hooked it up to my omnitor and then it turned on, strange, so it couldn't be my monitor, im stumped now, now what i think is wrong is the motherboard, won't someone help me? im a noob at this =(

I run a gigabyte GA-K8NS motherboard, with a xtasy 256 mb radeon 9600, and a 3000+ newcastle cpu
