Help Picking Router

Where I work, we have dorms for employees to stay. We want to supply them internet in the dorms. But, our IT won't support it in the dorms but will look the other way.

We have the connection and modem but we need a router. Comcast won't supply a router since we are a business. At this time, my work will only buy one router.

The dorms are contained in two, three story concrete buildings. So we need a strong signal. I realize not everyone may have a signal but we need to start somewhere. It needs to also be easy to set up/use as I am likely to be the IT person and I don't work in IT.

I am assuming we need a dual band N router? Please keep in mind that we may need to extend the signal at a later date.
Any help is appreciated.

the WZR line of buffalo products come high power amplifiers (600-800mw) plus dd-wrt professional FACTORY installed. This is a nice thing. also external antennas that can be beefed up easily.

you do realize comcast business supplies a smc gateway which is a router and modem for business class service in one package. it does the very crude basics but not wifi.
