HELP! Pentium 4 2.66GHz Temperatures

hi, i have a pentium 4 2.66GHz, and my question is what is the normal(or the supossed temp for the chip to run) temperature while gaming(heavy 3D applications).I mean between what number should I maintain the temperature of my processor and what is too high.

What are your current temps? Are you o'cing? What HS/Fan are you using?.....
 
i am not overclocking(but plan to) I am using the stock H/F that comes with the pentium 4 processor. i believe my CPU temp after about 20 minutes of gaming is about 50 or 51 celsius.
 
just so your load temps are below 70deg C then no damage will come to your processor... and if the temps do get above 75 C then the cpu will auto throttle and produce less heat. Normal temps for a P4 are around 50- 55 under load.
