When I try to overclock the processor it freezes on start up, then when it restarts it gives me the bootblock error. I changed the frequency to 150 from 133 it works for a little while, but then freezes and gives me the bootblock error. When I tried to go any higher than that, it gives the bootblock error immediately. Everytime I changed the volts over 1.6 it would freeze. I had the same problem with the ratio as I did with the voltage. I put it all back to stock settings and it still freezes every once and a while and on start up it gives me the bootblock error. Whenever I do get the bootblock error is to turn off the power supply for about 30 secs and then reboot, or reset the cmos.

Someone suggested that it could be I only have one stik of memory and this motherboard might require two. Does this sound right? Does anyone have a suggestion?
Can someone tell me what the bootblock error is and can it be deactivated.

The way I unlocked the processor was I connected all of the L1 bridges. Was this the correct way to unlock this particular processor?
Any hints or suggestions would be much appreciated because I am stuck.

Here's my setup:
Dragon Lite kt333
xp2100 tb unlocked (aiuhb)
kingston 512mb 2700
Antec true 430
Maxtor 40gb

Try SoftFSB . A cool little overclocking program that change the fsb of your mobo when it loads in Windows/linux etc.

Thx, the program didn't work because it was for older mobo. I found a new program called cpucool. I'm going to try this out.
