Help Overclocking 2600K

So I'm a little new to overclocking and looking for your opinions on my current settings.


i7- 2600k
Noctua NH-D14
Asus P8P67 Pro
Corsair XMS 8GB 9-9-9-24 1T
GTX 580


BIOS settings that I changed:

BCLK - 100
Turbo Ratio - 47x
Memory Frequency - 9-9-9-24 1T
LLC - Ultra High
VRM Frequency - 300
Phase Control - Extreme
CPU Voltage - 1.335
DRAM Voltage - 1.65

Avg Idle CPU Voltage ~ 1.32-1.33
Avg Load CPU Voltage ~ 1.33-1.34
CPU Temperature ~ 56-63*C


Are there any problems or ways to improve performance that you can see with this 4.7 GHz overclock?

need to see his VTT tho. lol..

if its on Auto, i bet you the bios overvolted it til no tomorrow.

Unless VIN1 is VTT, but i doubt it since its reporting the same value as VIN4.

Im guessing those are more along the lines of his board voltages on his chipsets.

Maybe VIN6?

If thats the case and your VTT is sub 1v.. then dude.. you got yourself one hell of a chip.

Yea, as long as the VTT isnt too bad then hot damn.
 
BIOS has the following votgages,
CPU 1.232
DRAM 1.5
VCCSA .925
VCCIO 1.062
CPU PLL 1.79
PCH 1.056

All set to auto at this time.
I would like to set these manually, since I don't know what the auto settings drive these to when overclocking..
 
I switched back to stock settings for now. I'm still unable to find anything that remotely resembles VTT in the BIOS.
 
this thing practically overclocks itself. Just set VTT to something like 1.35v, up the multiplier to something like 44-48 you should be set.

Did you read the thread? He cant find anything that looks like VTT... what you suggest makes no sense for him.
