Help, Outlook Express Backups?

How do I back up my address book and all my messages in outlook express? I've never gotten it to work before despite doing what the stupid help screen told me to...my windows installation is about to die and i have to reformat but dont want to lose everything...

All I do is save the outlook directory in my

C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{0634FD4C-0563-410E-8452-3CDD79BCF513}\Microsoft\OutlookExpress

And the file

C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

Then I import them as a file.

hm, didnt consider that its not hardware...i just come here for all my general computer questions, usually can find a thread already started
