I really need a 12.1 laptop which would be less than 5 pounds.
After looking around for quite a while with Fujitsu,Sharp,Sotec, I have found the Sharp MV12W in my range (just because Circuit City is offering it for 1799 - 200$ instant rebate - 100$mail in rebate) = 1499$.
This has a PIII-M 1.13, 256MB RAM, 40GB, 48MB video memory,WiFi and DVD/CD-RW.
Nothing else comes close to this for the price. When this was normally prices at 1799, there were other contenders.
Anybody can guide me if this price/feature overall if this value is a good buy..or would recommend me some other laptop to see before i buy.
As i said my need is 12.1 inch and relatively fast processor. The Sotec is a celeron 12.1 with almost same specs but without WiFi and is about 750$.
