Do any body know why when I print color pictures the color do not print like they are in display. I have a Canon i950 and a Lexmar Z65. the problem happen in both printers. A white back ground in display print like a bluish grey. If I do a color correction in Photo Elements 2 then the white back ground print ligh greenish colonr. Do I have to make an adjustment to the display? If so how do I do that. The display is a Flat Pannel (LCD).

To do it correctly, the monitor must be calibrated. There is hardware to do that but LCDs are harder to do if not impossible. One package is called Spyder. It is not cheap though.

Have a look in the printer properties- there will be controls for adjusting the brightness & contrast etc in there. Tweak those a little and you should get good results 🙂
