Help on possible stolen package (Buy.com order)

I need help / advice on what to do if someone stole a package that I ordered from buy.com

I order the Fuji 3800 deal and everything was fine and was set to be delivered today. I was out all morning and come home without finding any packages waiting for me so I check the order status online. It says it was delivered, but there was no package / delivery slip on my door or porch. I suspect that a High school kid (s) stole the package as I live nearby a highschool and if the package was left on my porch someone could have easily have taken it while I was out.

What should I do? Do I contact buy.com first or call FedEx / UPS?

First contact the courier with your tracking number.

Next contact Buy.com

Finally contact your credit card issuer and dispute the charge (if necessary).
 
Thanks. Just noticed that buy.com has a link for "lost package" that state delivered, but never recieved. Have to wait 11 days after shipment day for that. But I will call FedEx now and deal with buy.com later.
 
Wow, that sucks, i just had that happen the other week, there wasnt sh!t i could do. It was usps though....🙁

You can always do something about it.
 
yeah i had dealt with USPS before.... go to the post office and file an complaint. Its a federal offense to steal mail (USPS), at least I think it is.

then you can call the cops and if they find the people who did it then watch out cuz its going to be painful for them.

Mail crimes carry stiff penalties ususally. Keeps the mail safe 🙂
 
I had the same thing happened to me, with fedex, but instead of talking to fedex I go right to buy.com and they immediately sent me my items again. Pretty good, although they are cheap items (2 gamepads for PC).

It was usps priority, i doubt insured, i reported it to police and postmaster said i was fvct.
 
Sometimes it'll say delivered when you check up its tracking number, but the delivery guy either forgot or was too lazy and he'll delivery it tomorrow 🙂 It's happened a couple of times to me!
