Hi,
I just got a new set of 2x512 OCZ Platinum PC3200 Dual Channel Revision2 RAM which is rated to run at 2-2-2-5@2.7V
I have a Barton setup XP2500+ currently @ 200FSB x 11 = 2.2ghz
Previously on Kingston Value RAM, I managed to get it running at STABLE for a long time at 213FSB@2.7V
...
Now with this new set of RAM, I tried pulling it up to 213FSB again @ 2.7V with 2-2-2-5 timing, however memtest reports problems for test5.. So i tried upping the voltage to 2.8 (which is the highest i can go unfortunately ) still got little bit of errors.
I also tried 214 and 215FSB @ 2.8V with looser timings: 2-3-3-5 and even to 2-3-3-6 but memtest still reports errors.
I read reviews of it and it was easily supposed to be able to OC to 230+ FSB at 2-3-3-5 (though i know it could be different for different sticks of RAM but i can't even get 214???)
Any ideas? Thanks a lot ppl
rest of my system:
- GA-7N400L mobo
- Leadtek 6800
- Enermax 420W (truepower)
- Thermalright Si-97 hs+f
