I want to connect the two front USB port to the 10-pin USB78 header of my Asus A8v Dekux motherboard
The the strand of the 2 front USB ports on my case have:
USB 1+, USB 1-, GND, GND1, VCC1
USB 2+, USB 2-, GND, GND2, VCC2
The 10-pin USB headers of my Asus A8v motherboard has following pins:
USB+5V ----o o---- USB+5V
USB_P7- ----o o---- USB_P8-
USB_P7+ ----o o---- USB_P8+
GND ----o o---- GND
o---- NC
My questions are:
(1) What's VCC? Shall I connect it to the USB+5V pin?
(2) For each USB port, there are GND and GND1, It doesn't matter that I choose any of it to connect to the GND of the MB header?
(3) On the USB head, the pin of NC means no need to connect?
These questions may be too simple question for you, but as a 1st time builder, I hope to make it clear before I do it. Thanks a lot.
