Help on buying a laptop

I currently have 1500 to spend and im looking for a laptop for school. I want what im paying for so I dont kno what 1500 could get me, but do you guys have any sugestion. This computer will be used to take notes and occasionally play some video games when im bored in class =). Thanks for the help, appreciate it.

My vote: Dell 600m. Fairly light, decent performance. You need to consider weight and size since you'll be carrying it around a lot.

IF you are really after more working than gaming I would probably recomend an Apple Power Book.

I agree. I'm not a computer expert by any means, but I love my 600m. Integrated wireless makes everything easier, and it's a great size for portability. I would definately recommend this notebook.
