Help on building computer

Heya,

I am building my new computer tomorrow and I was looking for some help on a couple of issues

1.) I bought the taisol 760092 and artic silver 2, is there a guide somewhere that will help me install this step by step, I dont want to crack the core and I have never done this before. I have a 1.2 GHz athlon and the Iwill KK266. Is there like an url with pictures and stuff, or an acrobat file?

2.) I bought a panaflo 92mm case fan for the front of my case (Enlight 7237) I dunno how to screw it in though, it doesnt seem to fit right in the front, I moved the 80 MM fan to the back of my case.

3.) On fans how do you tell which way is blow, and which way is suck?

to tell, plug it in whiel your comp is on and feel it...i do it all the time

there's a guide for AS paste somewhere - it's actually on their site for whch i am without a link..

your case,i believe, can only accomodate an 80mm intake...u're gonna have to rid yourself of the 92mm or mod it..
actually, it's not hard to mount the fan in the front...just use wries or something.

i personally don't use an inake...too noisey, adds little cooling.

Thanks anyone with an enlight 7237 that can help me with this? I have heard I can put a 92 MM on the front.

i had one, b4 going sx1030b..

i think u have to mod or really try to stick the 92mm fan to get it down there.. not sure. ijust left the stock fan in.

usually u can have equallibrium, ones on front blow in, back, out.

not sure of guide. just be careful. or use a shim.

If you have never installed a proc before -

Do a series of &quot;Dry runs&quot;

First see how it clips on with no cpu in whatsoever. Second, see how it installs with the tape still on the HSF and no thermal compound. THEN, installed the thermal compound and see if it will work. It will save you a lot of anguish if you dont have to clean up smeared themal paste.

BIG Recomondation - lose and Artic and use white stuff for first few days. if you find you need 1 more degree or are comfortable with installing, then switch to it. I know many people who have lost a CPU due to artic silver. Don't worry about the hype, it is just that; hype.

the fan always blows in the direction of the label.
