help on black and white...

I've got a question. How are you guys teaching your creatures? I just started over and chose the monkey. I'm still on the first island but before i leave i wanted to try and teach him how to throw rocks. I put the leash of learning on him and focus his attention on the small pile of rocks. I then pick on up and hurl it into the mountain. The monkey usually points and smiles at me to signal that he understands, he then immediately jumps up and down screaming like he's pissed off? WTF? I showed him like at least 50 times and the rockhead won't get it. Dumb b*stard. Sometimes i focus him on the rocks and he picks on up like he's going to throw it, but immediately tosses it behind his back as if he's not interested. In return I smack the little b*stard until he's silly (meanwhile my fiancee's yelling at me because I hurt the little retards feelings). I'm curious....what point in the game are you creatures starting to learn? And how are you teaching them miracles? Furthermore, if you teach them a miracle, how do they know when and under what circumstance to cast it? I though the monkey would be smart, but as it stands now my damn tiger is a genius compared to this nit-wit....he eats his own SH!T, how dumb is that?

The way I did it, I gave him a rock. Then picked one myself, and through it. You have to make sure the rock isn't too big for him.

the way i teach them miracle is to have the furry leash on and then cast the miracle on the animal itself..you should see a percentage number float up above his head indicating what percentage he is at before he fully learns to cast it. i also then cast the miracles wherever they need casting with him usually leashed on me.

if u want him to stop eating his crap, pick up a log of poop and give it to him....rub his belly..its a signal for him to eat it...then after he eats it slap him silly...a few rounds of that will stop him from eating his poop.

I think the leash of learning is better for getting him to learn. Call me a slave to labels, but...
