okay, just put my new baby together:

IWill KA266-R DDR RAID motherboard (rev 1.3, 2-16-01 bios)
950Mhz (stock) AMD Athlon (blue core cooled by Arcticooler using supplied TIM)
256MB DDR1600 Crucial RAM
GeforceMX AGP w/32MB (Gigabyte 1280T)
2x20GB 7200RPM Quantum Fireball AS
all in a beatiful black Antec 1280SX

She runs without any problems using fast memory settings at 100Mhz fsb.

Problem: I tried to go to 133Mhz fsb, underclocked to 933Mhz to test stability. Upped the voltage as high as 1.825v, even tried setting memory timings to the slowest possible settings (fail-safe memory timings). Temp never hits over 37C under Prime95 torture test. Thing is, it keeps getting errors (usually 1 in 6-8 of the self-test items comes up with some kind of error) when in 133fsb. Also, when I ran a Final Reality video benchmark, got a blue screen (Win2K) about an IRQL error, etc. First blue screen on this new computer.
Am I missing something here? Is the RAM just not cut out to handle 133Mhz? I read on some review that Crucial's 1600 should easily hit 133... I find it hard to believe I'd need to up the voltage to go to a higher fsb at a lower clock speed... Any suggestions? Up the DRAM voltage to 2.6v (how risky is this)?

Thanks.

updupdate: i believe the problem was an unstable frequency. upped the multiplier from 7 to 7.5, now she runs at 1Ghz without a glitch at 133fsb. gonna try for more later... max temp so far=39c
