Help! No Sound is coming out my Hauppauge Win-TV-PVR!!!

I don't know what to do. On my tv card, there's a plug for Line In, the Cable, Line Out, and S-Video. I put a plug from the Line Out, to my Sound Card. I'm sure I put it in the right way because there are three plug holes, one for the speaker, one for the mic, and hopefully one for line in. I don't know why no sound is coming out, is there a trick to this or something?
