It would be awesome if I could get some help in the next hour...

What version of Windows Media Player do you have? Are you using Windows XP? You can download a free version of DeepBurner as well, but Media Player 9 or 10 should have built-in burning capabilities under XP.

Right-click the link and click Save As. Pick somewhere where you can find it and save it locally.

Follow the instructions here.

It's hard to help you when you won't cooperate. We needed the version of wmp you have. If you have windows xp you have at least 9. In that case there are tabs on the sides that say "burn audio" or something of that nature. It's really hard to miss. If you don't have that option than your drive might not be installed correctly.

Did you save the file to the hard drive on the system you're trying to burn the CD on? Open up windows media player, then click on the file and drag the file into WMP - it should open up the file. Then follow the instructions in the link MrChad gave you, the link to microsoft's site explaning how to burn an audio CD from windows media player.

god this is confusing.

First click on the LINK, look at the file.

PLEASE!

I dont know how to save it to the hard drive, this is oh so confusing...just click on the song and go to file and tell me what to do.

I went to file and it does not list any option to save it to the hard drive, and I dont know what you mean by dragging it into WMP. (which I tried doing in the "burn" section..)

Thank-you.

It's a standard MP3 file. Anyone clicking the link or not won't change that. It simply needs a program capable of converting it to WAV format and putting on the CD in the proper method.
Just right-click the link you posted, and save the file to the hard drive somewhere.

Now, either check out the directions posted for WMP, or else try CD Burner XP.

Once it's installed, run the program. It'll give you a window for New Compilation...click the middle one - "Create a new audio-cd"

Now use the filebrowser that shows up to find the saved MP3 file on the hard drive, and drag it to the bottom portion of the screen. Screenshots - audio setup is the second from the right, top row.
Then click on the flaming CD icon in the middle of the main toolbar. This'll open the write dialogue.

Well, go ahead and try it out. It's not like it's going to blow up the computer.
Save Link As, select a location on the hard drive, and then open it with Windows Media Player. File -> Open perhaps?

You gotta relax. If anyone clicks on the file, it will simply stream it to their music playing software. That means it will just play and not save it to their computer. So what a person will normally do if they want to SAVE the file instead of PLAY the file is right-click on the file.

Right-clicking means putting the arrow over the file name and pressing the right mouse button once. That should pop up a context menu, which just means a windows with some choices in it. One of those choices should be something like SAVE TARGET or SAVE or similar. Left-click that choice. That should bring up another dialog box (window) that lets you tell the computer where to put the file.

Select something that is easy for you to find, such as the Desktop. Once it is on the desktop, then the other advice in here concerning Windows Media Player will work.

No, thats not the file.

It doesn't run off your own hardware, well...I mean its played in a web browser window (quicktime 2 be exact)

I got it burned, but it was a hassle..

Is there away to burn multiple songs on a single disk?

I mean, I already burned songs on this disk...if I the the same disk and try to burn another song will it just overwrite the disk or add a new song??

No, unless it's a re-writeable CD, if you want it to play in a standard CD player you'll need a new disc.
