Damnit guys!

I had it working and then I switched hard drives and bam it stopped working. I switch back and it won't post either.

I just installed a Barton 2500+ and an Asus A7V8X-x /w a new Radeon 9600 pro! C'mon guys I've got no idea.

listen to the post message (stick a speaker into the speaker output... you'll get some sort of post message i believe unless you disabled it....)
to get back to the default post message take out the battery and switch the jumper next to it, and make sure everything is unplugged.... then put the jumpers back in. Replace the battery and then try posting again, also make sure that your drive isnt set to slave (unless its a secondary drive...)

Most mobos do not have "post messages" they have only beeps that represent post errors. You also do not have to remove the battery and move the CMOS reset jumper, one or the other will suffice. I also don't know what you mean by "everything is unplugged" as you only have to unplug the 115v power cable from the psu.

My first guess it that you knocked something loose when you replaced the hd (assuming that you replaced the cpu and vid card earlier and had it working). Check all of your cable connections, reseat cards and ram, find any dropped screws, etc.. If you replaced all of the components at the same time, repost as it may be a different problem.

sounds like you knocked something loose or forgot to push the power supply switch in the back back on.

1) check power supply switch
2) reseat the ram, and the video card.
