I have a network of 3 computers. I also have a router/dsl modem in one. It doesnt always, but more times than not dies when the third computer is either turned on or off. But regardless, i have to reset my router at least 3 times daily because i loose connection to internet(not network) and all three lights on "Ethernet Network" blink on and off in sync. simple power cycle fixes everything. Whats going on? thanks

Clarify that statement please.

Also, be more specific about what you mean by "dying" please:
Do you lose access to file shares?
On more than one machine?
Are you unable to "browse" your network?
Can you still connect via UNC paths at the command line?
Do you lose access to Internet?

And finally:
Did you always use a router to share your Internet connection?
Even before you got DSL?

I have an actiontec dsl gateway. its a router/modem in one. By dying i mean that i loose connection to the internet, not to the other computers. i can still browse/use my network. No, i didnt always use a router, upgraded to it when i got SDSL, used hub and static ips with last ADSL service.
