HELP!!!! Netgear FA310TX not totally recognized

When I installed the Netgear NIC, it was detected and asked for the drivers which loaded ok. When you check it out in Device Manager it's there with no yellow question mark or red X through it. When I check properties on it everything looks ok. But when I click on the Start button, Run button and type in Winipcfg (which shows network cards) it doesn't show up. I'm running Win98SE.

I've removed the card, deleted the drivers and reinstalled it several times just to make sure I'm doing everything right. I don't know what else to do.



 
Yeah, I've tried a couple of different PCI slots...same results. It's not the slots cuz I've moved around my video & sound cards and those work fine.
