Help needed setting up raid 0

the problem is that i have heard that some people have been able to set a raid 0 array without using a floopy disk on the F6 prompt when installing windows... is this true, can this be done?. i have a MSI K8N neo2 platinum and am looking to SATA RAID0 some new hdds in a week, the problem is that my floppy drive is not working, can i just set it in the BIOS and get it to detect the array that way without using the disk or do i have to use the floppy disk?

I have already runa search and nothing has come up with regards to this ...

If the OS has native drivers then you'll be fine. Another option would be to create a slipstream OS CD with the RAID drivers already included.

Thanks for the info CalvinHobbes, Would you be able to point in the right direction with regards on how to slipstream the drivers in to the OS, (links to websites maybe 🙂), i have a disk with the drivers on i think from MSI, would those be the drivers that i need?
 
Here is a pretty good guide for slipstreaming... Even if you have native SATA support, you will have to install the raid drivers to use raid 0, so you'll either have to do the slipstream, or get a working floppy..

arh that is magic .. thanks for that .. i have a question the drivers that i need i presume are on the MSI disk (the floppy i got with the mobo), if not will i be able to download some generic ones or will i have to use the Nforce 3 ones, i think the latter... would the drivers be available from the MSI website?
