Help Needed Setting Up Printer With RedHat

Distro - RedHat 7.2. Printer - HP 842C. I went through the menu/system/ Printer configuration utility when in Gnome and although I see the printer model there are a number of drivers to choose from and unsure which one I should select. The selection offered is as follows:
cdj550
cdj670
cdj880
cdj970
hpdj
hpijs(last character could be a 5)
pcI13
stp

How can one find out which to choose?

Note: I am trying to configure this device as a Local Printer.

HP has made drivers for this, I believe you can find them on HP's website, the series is like DJ8xx .. i believe you can also use the 900 series drivers too like dj9xx .. well hope this helps ..

To neural: If as you write that HP has made drivers available for Linux in general and the particular distro I am using than I cannot find it on their website. The place I checked is as follows:

HP Driverrs

If you have a specific link then would you post it?

To EmperorRob: There is certainly a great deal of information on the link you provided. But it seems that each driver has both positive and negative features. For text printing one driver stands out and for image/photo printing it's another. I wonder if I can simply switch from one driver to another depending on the printing I will be doing? In such a case would I have to uninstall the existing driver and if so what is the process of doing that?
