Fear the wrath of Mavis Beacon.

You can probably pick up a copy cheap.

Good luck, two-finger McGee.

Nothing wrong with 2 finger typing. I do it, sort of. Although I admit I do use my thumb for the spacebar and left ring finger for shift. I think I type pretty well. :)

same here!! im not the average bad typer... i use my thumb and left hand fingers not so badly but with my right hand it is simply an index and middle finger issue...

i want more accuracy and also a fixed method cuz its usually whichever finger is closest kinda thing...

I've actually become a much better typist as a result of hanging around ATOT. My ability to express myself was hindered by my crappy typing, so I've gotten better (or at least faster) with practice. Sad but true.;)

Actually, Mavis Beacon is a great typing instructional tool. I played around with it in HS. In JrHigh, I went through a typing class one semester and didn't do too well. I made mistakes all over the place. But, over that summer, I hit email and hit it hard. Basically, I learned which fingers go to which key in the typing class, but got all my practice via sending long emails. :)

i never really LEARNED to type... most people, after they do it enough, if they stare at the keyboard as they type and use the "home" keys, you'll eventually pick up everything... i can type all the number thingys on top of the letters without looking!!! hahaha i'm almost proud of that! lol
