OK, the title wasn't completely accurate, but what can you expect with 35 characters? I'm trying to get some basic tracking and calendar functions out of Outlook. I wanted to use Act or Goldmine in my network, but the users are all a little slow and both softwares would really go to waste if I needed to install a copy for each client. What I need is the ability to import(or input) data from an Excell sheet into a central location on the server and then distribute the appropriate information to the clients. Sounds like an Exchange setup and I was hoping to centralize one copy of either Goldmine or Act, but Exchange may be too powerful and Act and GM don't seem to distribute to multiple different users from a centralized location. I guess I just need a simple place/program where I(and only I) can input the information and distribute it. Any ideas will be helpful.
