Translation of jpeyton's q: budget?

"How much are you willing to spend on this cpu motherboard combo?"

What RAM do you have now (if its ddr1 then you will need to get some ddr2 to go along with the new cpu/motherboard combo)?

Well, IMO, if you are getting a new CPU and MOBO then go the c2d route. I dont see AMD as a viable purchase for the foreseeable future. Best grab some DDR2 mem NOW while its dirt cheap as I predict the prices will shoot up when intel lowers the prices on c2d chips next month and everyone will be upgrading, including myself! :)
