HELP!! Need info on Operation Market Garden (largest airborne operation of all time on the Germans)

Okay... I've searched almost EVERYWHERE on the net, and I can't seem to find any info on Operation Market Garden. This is all I have so far:

-During WWII, allied forces (British and US) planned to execute the largest airborne operation of all time on the Germans
-this operation was called Operation Market Garden
-it failed miserably for one reason or another

If anyone has ANY information on this, or knows where I can find some, I'll love you forever. Thank you!!

You should PM Denis....... he seems to be very up on his WW2 histroy. Try searching with google, I always get the best results from that. Also try searching for the Battle of Arnhiem, I think this was one of the major battle of Operation Market Garden.

Thats because Operation Market Garden isn't its proper name.

Its proper name is the "Arnheim offensive" I believe. Look under that.
