Help!! Name this movie...

It's a Korean movie I got in China on dvd...english subtitles...except for the title, cast, etc...
I need to know the title or at least the name of the actress/director etc...anything would help!

It's a love story...in the end, he kills his lover because he knows she'll leave him again, and she knows too. very interesting movie...any clues out there!?!??!

OK...here's more info...

Korean movie...they only actually show the 2 main characters and 1 other a couple of times...
the actor is writing novels, and a girl returns to him...only she isn't really all there, she still see's her lover, and doesn't really commit to the guy she returns to. He is obsessed with her, but she always runs away from him. She returns one day beaten by her lover, and the man decides to search the lover out and knifes him right in a crosswalk in broad daylight without missing a beat. they then go to the ocean together (guy and gal) and they have lot's of sex etc...she finds out her lover is dead and leaves...she returns again...but this time, he can't bear to lose her again so he strangles her while making love, and she knows what's happening and let's it, saying she loves him for the first time...enough detail!?! help with the title!!

went to beijing, shanghai, and hong kong...by far the best place to get the dvd's was shanghai. i paid about 2-5 us dollars each, depending on where you got them...

thanks for the suggestion on where to find the movie, where abouts are you visiting in china?
