Why not Benjamin Franklin?

Kind of on that note, I really hate the modern trend of naming babies "uniquely."

You mean like "Uniqua"? 😉

Adam Corolla and David Alan Greer ("DAG") have a bit about a mother calling her children in for dinner but all the kids names are chemicals used in birth control pills (DAG does a great impression of Mama from "What's Happening").

It really works and is really funny. I will have to try to find it online. I think it is audio only, so no youtube.

Also, I don't like when people name their kids after biblical figures like Noah or Josiah or Isaiah or Job. Matt, Mark, Luke, John? OK. 😛

We named our daughter after a biblical female, but not for religious reasons - We just liked the name and it matched the first letter we were looking for.

I don't mind some of the biblical names you listed. I hardly think of Matthew, Mark or John as biblical, though they obviously are. Job, Isaiah, Micah, etc. are little much for me.

But whatever, it's your kid-- and I guess if enough of that generation name their kids things ilke "Kylee Butterfly" some of them will undoubtedly end up in management and it won't be near as awkward as it would be now.

QFT. Also, it use to be pretty odd for someone to have a legal name of "Jack" (as opposed to as a nickname). Now, I find it more and more often.

MotionMan (aka legally named "Jack")

Balls McGee
or
Cooterpie Sarah

Really though, I don't like any of the names listed, so I voted the names I liked the least. Here's to Reagan or Cooper!

my husband forgot to mention Victoria Grace or Gabriella Grace. I guess that is his way of saying he doesn't like them.

Sorry, simply forgot them.

voted alyssa grace
and dalton franklin

i dont really like dalton, however, or coopyer. franklin is ok, but im not *that* fond of it.

Alyssa is hot... though you will be making her spell it out for people for the rest of her life...

You forgot the the obvious names:

Stanaslaus
Lenthorp
Alfonz
-or-
Lucius

The trick is to make sure the name doesn't ryhme with any curse words or parts of the anatomy.

I'm not really fond of the first/middle combos that you are offering as choices.

I voted for Noah and Chloe though. Kinda fond of Chloe because my wife and I named our daughter Khloe Abigail.

edit: Added Annabelle Grace and Victoria Grace to the girls poll.
Added Geoffrey Christopher to the boys poll.

sub zero.. 8)

i quite like the name joshua

ooh yeah, for a girl call her hannah or anna, cos you can spell it backwards.

if i ever have a girl that the name's shes getting cos you'll be able to spell her first and surnames backwards!

Crono if it's a boy, Marle if it's a girl 😉.

EDIT: I don't know why I used the wink emoticon, as I am being perfectly serious. 🙂 There, that's better.
