HELP! My USB Stroage Device isn't working!

Well, I just bought a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256 MB today, and I use Windows XP Pro w/ SP2. Idealy If I plug it into the USB port, It should display on the screen and say "deteced new hardware" or something like that, right? But I plug it in and nthoing happens. The drvie deosn't show up or anything. I am 100% positive that all my USB ports are working, and I am using USB 1.1 in which case it says the storage device it's fully compatible with my computer. Any Ideas? Is it a mal-functioning device or is seomthing wrong with my computer? Or maybe it's both.:Q

I would say there is something wrong with the Device. If there is another computer you could try, that would tell you for sure.
