He claims that this equation has a root and wants us to write a computer program to solve this
sin(x+sqrt(1-x^2))-1.2x+2
My working program and my calculator says there are no roots, but he still claims that their are roots to this equation. Ideas?
update...The prof was on crack...he meant the equation to be sin(x+sqrt(1-x^2))-1.2x+0.2. What is funny, is that he didn't believe my calculator or my c++ program until he ran the question through his self written maple program. what a dick. either way, he had to push back the lab due to his error. thanks all
