HELP!! MY RIG DOESNT WORK ANYMORE

i come home from school only to find that when i turned on my computer all that came up was the abit logo screen and i reset my BIOS and im leving it unpluged for a while, what should i do and it wont post HELP

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
PQI PC3200 RAM 2BG
Antech Smartpower 2.0 500W
Radeon X700PRO
WD 250G SATA 3.0

No post errors? try stripping it down to bare minimum hardware (1stick of ram & video card) and see if you get any further. if it works try putting more parts in... if not, try swapping ram, video, etc.

thanks thats what my friends said to do but i cant take out my cpu b/c i dont have any more thermal paste so i dont know what im going to do but thanks anyway

leave the CPU in.. just take out all but 1 stick of ram and the video. unplug the hard drive too.

He said to leave the VGA and 1 stick of RAM in.

my mobo has an LCD that tells me errors and it said Cmos error flag

you reset the bios properly i assume (move the jumper etc.)

This site says something about the error on the award bios... "05h Blank out screen; Clear CMOS error flag"
don't know if that helps any though.

I'm downloading the user manual but you can check in there and see if it tells you what errors mean what.


Edit: What bios version are you running? Here is the newest one.

i fixed it, it was my keyboard that was causing the problem
