Damn it, I'm getting senile and I'm still twenty-ish.
Sometime when I'm counting, I'd lose count.
Or most little things that I need to remember.
My GF would tell me to get this and that at groceries, either I got the wrong one or forgot one.
But I can remember most people phone number, which is strange.
Does Ginkgo Biloba helps ? my GF says it does not.
but I can't keep forgetting our anniversary or her birthday anymore.
I must get out of the dog house.
any help ?

I'm clean if that's what you think.
I don't smoke and I don't (can't) drink. all my life.
Never tried any drugs whatsoever.
When I was little (about 5-15) I ate lot's of food that contain msg.
not lately though.

Ginko helps improve circulation. That allows more blood flow to the brain hence better memory. If you take it I would suggest you also take a good multi vitamin, and lecitin(I used to work in a healthfood store).I notice a significant diffrence when I dont get my proper nutrition, lack of exercise, and when my sleep pattern is off.You should also try to be as active as possible, and maintain a consistant diet.Hope this helps.;)

For the best results, take both Gingko and the herb Gotu Kola. I have been doing so for years, and I really do notice a difference between wheb I do and do not... :D

try some memory building exercises. every heard of mnemonics ? associating a more familiar term
with a less familiar one to help remember the later ? have a look through this medical mnemonic
database and stop by mindgames.

thanks for the help guys.
what am I asking again ? (just kidding)
my memory is not all around bad, just some weird easy stuff.
I mean I would measure cup of rice and lose count (3 or 4?).
Or putting coins in laundry machine (50 cents ? 4 quarters ?)
not very often but it happen.
I don't think mnemonic would help me there.
I might give Ginkgo a try, since some of you said it helps a little.

I never remember what I dream about after I wake up. 99% of the time.
the other 1% I remember something but in 5 minutes, I forgot all about it.
Does this have anything to do with bad memory ?

I dont think that has anything to do with memory. I think i have a pretty good memory, but i also only remember my dreams about 1% of the time. And i used to take Ginkgo for a while but stopped becuase of the headaches it gave me. I guess it works differently for different people.
