Yeah, Corvettes are crap.

just ask your friend what car styling he likes, whether it be a new car that just came out, or a used car that is out of production. if he doesn't know, check out the various lots, domestic and imports. who says you can't mod a used car

It's quite clear that you don't know what you're talking about.

1) You don't know jack about Vette engines obviously.
2) The NSX happens to be one of the biggest ripoffs in the car industry.

Evo has an edge overall in the handling field, while the STi has more ponies under the hood.

uhh.... ok how many corvettes do you see with +75k miles.... a nsx can easily go 100k+ without a prob, try that with an american car, yeah it may be a bit expensive... but its got something called style... have u seen the interior of a corvette... my 1991 integra has a nicer interio than it does....

Personally, I would rather spend my money on some good old american steel. Do you guys know how much car you could really get?

This
Or this
Or maybe this one

I would spend my 30 g's on a car that was going to go up in value! Forget about these foreign piles of junk that drop 5k as you roll off of the lot!!

Not really. The NSX is a beautiful mid-engine all-aluminum exotic sports car. A redesign is long due but to make a statement like calling it the "biggest ripoff" when you've never driven one and probably never will considering 200 a year are sold is pretty lame.

while they are nice cars they are known for having a huge problem of reselling them if you choose to sell it or don't like it. they ARE a rip off for that reason IMO

You can get a G35C for under $30k too. ;)

Another vote for either WRX STi or Evo VIII...I know that's what I'd get, but that's me.

G35 would also be very nice, as would the S4.

Pick any of the above; you won't be disappointed.

You gotta have the 13inch wheels...otherwise it just isn't the pimpness that it deserves to be.

Some things I've been thinking about are the Mustang, Camaro, and BMW M3, but im not too sure how an M3 would be insurance wise...
Haha young teens buying cars are so funny. They have not the first clue about how to take it in the butt from insurance companies but if they're silly enough to buy a performance car they'll quickly learn.

Get new Audi 1.8T or 3.0, whatever he can afford.

In the long run, it is cheaper to own Audi as they have bumper to bumper 5 yrs / 50,000 miles warranty.

It is a damn nice car as well.
