Help My Documents missing

All I did was uninstall Power DVD and re-install it and now there is nothing in MY Documents Folder. All my I-tunes songs were in it, I tried System Restore but they are still gone. Also messed up my Object Dock so I had to uninstall that too. what the hell?????
 
Is it possible that you are logged on as a different user? Check the Documents and Settings folder to see if your files are in any of the other \<username>\My Documents subfolders.
 
nope, only user, have not a clue how it could happen, searched the hard drive for the files cannot find them.
