HELP! My copy/paste functions stopped working!

I'm not sure what happened, but I can't right click on any files/folders and use the copy/paste fucntions anymore! When I copy something it doesn't do anything and won't let me paste it somewhere else. When I cut something it won't either. Does anyone know the registery edit or how I can fix this problem? Please!?!?
 
Questions:

Have you tried rebooting?
Any changes to the system recently (add/remove software/hardware, windows updates)?
What version of windows are you using?
